ALTUS LSA provides services with the Spylite from Bluebird Aero Systems, with thousands of hours in operations and provides reliable, flexible and cost effective solutions with the following capabilities:

Smart UNattended airborne sensor Network for detection of vessels used for cross border crime and irregular entrY
Description: The SUNNY project aims to develop system solutions capable of improving the effectiveness of the EU border monitoring compared to the legacy systems, whilst keeping the affordability and interoperability as key enabling factors. Via the integration of technologies developed across different initiatives, the SUNNY approach will deliver pre-processed information with meaningful decision support tools enabling the reduction of number and required level of expertise of border surveillance personnel.
SUNNY main features beyond existing research projects:
• A two-tier intelligent heterogeneous UAV sensor network
• Novel sensors and on-board processing generation, integrated on UAV system
• Exploitation and adaptation of emerging standard wireless technologies and
architectures to the SUNNY scenarios
Fire Event Remote Management Information System
Description: The main goal of this project is to design, develop and demonstrate a comprehensive solution for early fire detection, prevention, monitoring, prediction and fire-fighting, by the use of advanced and integrated aerial sensing system coupled with innovative sensors and a cloud-based architecture software.

ALTUS LSA and SCR have successfully provided services with the SCRAB II aerial target system to the Hellenic Airforce for the S 300 system acceptance trials at NAMFI on December the 13th 2013
|During the scenario execution, SCRAB II presented two inbound tracks at 6.000 ft altitude and after successful engagement by the weapon system, it was destroyed with direct missile hit.
It is worth mentioning the adverse weather conditions during the SCRAB II flight with turbulent winds and icing conditions.
ALTUS LSA personnel completed successfully the official Emergency First Response (EFR) course
As accidents can happen anytime anywhere, where Emergency Services are delayed or unavailable, ALTUS LSA personnel completed successfully the official Emergency First Response (EFR) course in order to improve safety and contingency planning during work and operations.

ALTUS LSA and SCR successfully provide aerial target services for the Qatar Emir Airforce (QEAF)
During week 39 and 41 of 2013, ALTUS LSA together with its partner company SCR of Spain, successfully provided aerial target services with the SCRAB II aerial target for the Qatar Emir Airforce (QEAF). Offered services were performed at NATO Missile Firing Installation in Crete as part of a larger scale exercise between Hellenic Airforce and QEAF. During the exercise, 6 SCRAB II aerial targets were flown under realistic air to air scenarios against the QEAF Mirage 2000 aircraft, which engaged the targets and successfully launched MICA and MAGIC missiles against them. SCRAB II is a jet propelled, mid to high performance aerial target system, able to simulate fast moving, high manoeuvrability aerial threats for mid and long range air defence systems.

TRACE International Inc. (TRACE) has successfully completed a TRACE Standard due diligence review of Altus LSA Commercial & Manufacturing S.A.

SCR and ALTUS successfully certify SCRAB II and ALBA Aerial Target Systems at NAMFI
During week 22 of 2013, SCR together with its partner company ALTUS LSA, successfully certified the ALBA and SCRAB II aerial target systems at NATO Missile Firing Installation (NAMFI) in Crete. The certification process involved the flight of each drone within the NAMFI airspace at a variety of speed, altitude, distance and maneuver profiles.
ALBA is a light weight high mobility and rapid deployment system, suitable for short range air defense system training and testing scenarios. SCRAB II is jet propelled, mid to high performance aerial target system, able to simulate fast moving, high maneuverability aerial threats for mid and long range air defense systems.
Operational Development of Firejet Target at NAMFI and participation to the Hellenic Armed Forces air defence exercise DIKEFALOS AETOS
During the Week of 12 to 23 of November 2012, CEi together with its in country partner Company ALTUS LSA, successfully certified at NAMFI the high performance Aerial Target Drone FireJet.
In addition to the above, on Saturday the 17th of November, FireJet participated in the Hellenic Armed Forces Joint Air Defense exercise "DIKEFALOS AETOS 2012" where it was operated against the Hellenic Air-force Patriot Air Defense System, which successfully engaged and fired upon the Target.
FireJet System, is a high performance aerial target system which has been specifically designed to address the needs of modern air-defense system testing and training, by representing sophisticated high performance air breathing threats. Firejet’s introduction into NAMFI is harmonized with NAMFI’s future capabilities for providing a modern warfare training and Testing Environment.
RPAS FRONTEX Workshop
ALTUS LSA participated in the Remotely Piloted Aerial Systems (RPAS) Border Surveillance Workshop organized by FRONTEX in Sofia/Bulgaria during 18 & 19 of April 2012. During the workshop several aspects regarding the use of RPAS for border surveillance missions were analyzed and discussed among EU Government authorities and industry.
Potentials for European Border Surveilance
ALTUS LSA participated in the "UAVs: Potentials for European Border Surveilance" workshop organized by FRONTEX with the support of the Hellenic Coast Guard. The event took place between the 17th to the 21st of October 2011 in Aktion Hellenic Airforce base in Preveza Greece. During the event, ALTUS together BlueBird Aero systems of Israel presented and operated the Spylite mini UAV system which flew west of Preveza and performed surveillance and monitoring missions at ranges greater than 20 km from the base.
Altus LSA successfully develops and delivers a BUOY marine platform with an integrated Telemetry System to the NATO FORACS Naval Service.
The platform itself is an innovative prototype equipped with specific electronic arrangements in order to be utilized for calibration of sensors on-board surface ships. The telemetry system architecture is built according to SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system principles and enables continuous remote monitoring and control of each individual electronic module installed inside the platform, optimizing reliability and safety. The remote control and monitoring station comprises of a fully customizable ruggedized peli case with an integrated PLC unit and a complete set of data links which connected to a laptop pc running a customized SCADA HMI application offers great mobility and flexibility. Additional system highlights are complete power autonomy based on solar powered power supply system, platform position tracking via GPS data, wireless Ethernet and Serial getaway for data transfer purposes and an intruder alarm arrangement.

ALTUS LSA successfully delivered the ATLAS 8 octacopter VTOL UAV and completed operator training for National Observatory Of Athens (N.O.A.).VTOL UAV was realized through KRIPIS – PROTEAS program and BEYOND Program is benefited by its operational activity
ATLAS 8 mini VTOL UAV is a compact UAS solution of high performance and quality. The octacopter system is based on a user friendly approach and through the Autopilot System and the UAS navigation software, the platform can be completely autonomous while on air, following the pre-determined flight plan set by the operator prior to the flight.
The specific version of the UAV was especially configured to meet the N.O.A. operational and technical requirements, as a tailored turnkey solution.
Four members of N.O.A. have been certified as ATLAS UAV operators after successfully completing the one-week theoretical and practical (hands-on) training program.

VISIT OF THE DEFENCE ATTACHE OF THE EMBASSY OF INDIA IN PRAGUE TO NAMFI
On Wednesday the 13th of July 2016, the Defence Attache of the Embassy of India in Prague, Collonel Tapas Kumar Misra, within the context of the cooperation of his country with ALTUS LSA S.A. ,visited NAMFI.
During his visit he received a short briefing on the mission and capabilities of the Firing Range.

ALTUS LSA in Drone Expo 2016
ALTUS LSA supports on the Thassos Forest Fires damage assessment
From 10 to 14 of September 2016, destructive Forest Fires plagued the Greek island of Thassos. During these 4 days, more than 140,000,000 m2 (140 square Km) have been claimed by the fire and dozens of houses and human constructions have been damaged of completely destroyed.
As a follow up action the Hellenic Ministry of Infrastructure, Transport and Networks (ΥΠΟΜΕΔΙ) initiated the damage assessment for the affected areas. However as Thassos is comprised of very rough-mountainous terrain, with limited to no accessibility to remote mountainous areas, aerial support has been requested.
ALTUS close partner National Observatory of Athens (NOA) has responded to this urgent call, and using its own UAV assets and ALTUS operational support, managed to successfully complete the damage assessment project in a few days.
More specifically, ALTUS team organized the operational planning, executed all flights meeting the mission demands and covered the areas of interest providing inputs of very high quality orthophotos (up to 5cm/pixel resolution).
NOA team started afterwards the further processing these geo-tagged high quality imagery using the latest smart software solutions, creating very precise orthomosaics and 3D models, in order to make these inputs easily available to the Ministry to support the identification of destroyed properties and further government actions.
